Kicking Off February

Residents are kicking off the new year by exercising their bodies and their minds! They’ve enjoyed several educational speakers, musical performances, and fitness classes. We are ready for everything 2024 has in store this year!

February is American Heart Month! Cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of women in the United States, so we wore red to raise awareness. Check out heart.org to learn how you can Go Red too!

Indiana Pathways for the Aging

If you are not already aware, we wanted to inform you that as of July 1, 2024, all Indiana individuals who are 60 years of age or older and are receiving traditional Medicaid benefits will be transitioned to managed Medicaid plans called Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS). This includes residents living in both skilled nursing facilities and assisted living waiver apartments.

Three insurance providers have been selected by the state to offer these managed Medicaid Plans: Anthem, Humana and UnitedHealthcare. Indiana Pathways for the Aging will be the provider of the MLTSS.
